Just connect the existing large guage wire from either the battery positive terminal or the positive terminal on the starter motor to the batt terminal on the alternator and it is done. Now when I fire it up after sitting over night I can check the voltage and it reads 13.75 volts while idling. If I drive 15-20 miles down the road the voltage on my meter starts going down very slowly.
