During operating hours there is a small fee, however, you can also visit the rink during off hours for free if you bring your own skates. WebHistory: Mahoney was named after a policeman, senator, and director of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. When he took over the Game and Parks Commission everything started to improve. It was dedicated May 19, 1991. It is the second most visited tourist attraction in Nebraska. Price and Hours: It is $5 for a day pass to get into the park.
