WebI am very happy with my Rachio. There's almost always one of these guys in every thread, and I guess I'll be the one in this thread. You can spend half that and do it all with a sonoff 4ch. I did my entire schedule in node red for 4 zones, but I've seen much more sophisticated setups (scheduling) using esphome.
