WebMar 13, 2012 · Chrome is technically only 'cleaned' (the term used synonymously as polished, or made shiny). If you try to polish chrome with a polishing compound you will effectively ruin the appearance. $450 to do both bumpers is a really good price. Generally it costs $300/bumper.
