WebMay 23, 2024 · I wanted to share with the group my recent experience with adjusting loft on my dad's old set of Ping Eye 2 Black Dot irons. I adjusted them 2-3 degrees less on loft, which for me has made them more playable. I tend to hit a high shot normally, so delofting these irons has improved them for me. Below are my new specs: 3i 18 deg. 4i 22deg.

IIRC the PW is 50 degrees on the Eye 2's and a lot of current iron's PW are 46 degrees or stronger. That's not a problem except it leaves yardage gaps at the top of your bag and your friends will hit their clubs with the same number ...
